GC85 is Wheelmark and IMO A821(19) HSC approved. GC80 and GC85 Compact Gyro systems have different Sensitive elements, but use the same Compact MK2 Control unit. The systems are identified by divergent DIP switch settings in Master compass and in the Control unit.
